About this treatment
Thread lifting repositions mildly to moderately sagging facial tissue without surgery, using the certified APTOS method — threads with tiny barbs (cogs) that anchor in the subcutaneous tissue and hold the lifted position.
How it works
After local anaesthesia, threads are introduced through entry points hidden at the hairline or behind defined vectors, then tensioned to re-drape the cheek, jowl or brow tissue upward. The mechanical lift is visible immediately. Over the following months the body forms a collagen scaffold along each thread track — so as the absorbable thread dissolves (12–18 months for the polylactic/caprolactone materials APTOS uses), a supportive fibrous structure…
