About this treatment
LightSheer Duet is one of the most clinically documented diode laser platforms for permanent hair reduction, developed by Lumenis (USA).
Technology
The 800 nm diode wavelength is preferentially absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft and follicle. The Duet's large vacuum-assisted handpiece gently suctions the skin, stretching it thin and drawing follicles closer to the energy source — allowing effective treatment at lower fluence with markedly less discomfort and faster coverage of large areas (full legs in a fraction of the time of small-spot lasers).
