About this treatment
A facelift repositions descended facial soft tissue and removes excess skin to restore a more defined jawline and midface — the only intervention that meaningfully corrects established jowls and neck laxity.
Techniques offered
- Minifacelift (local anaesthesia or analgosedation): shorter incisions around the ear with limited skin and SMAS tightening — suited to early laxity in the lower face, with quicker recovery.
- SMAS facelift (general anaesthesia): the standard modern technique that tightens the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (the structural layer under the skin) rather than just pulling skin, producing a natural result lasting roughly 8–12 years. Can be combined with a necklift to address platysmal bands and neck skin excess.
- Deep plane facelift (general anaesthesia): the most advanced technique offered, releasing and repositioning the skin-and-SMAS composite as one unit beneath the SMAS layer. This achieves stronger midface elevation and avoids the over-pulled look, and is the technique most in demand internationally. Offered alone or with a necklift.
