MVZ Radiologie-Netzwerk NRW operates three imaging centres across North Rhine-Westphalia, with its principal Düsseldorf location near the Schadow-Arkaden in the city centre. Founded in 2015, the practice has grown to 80 employees serving more than 20,000 patients per year across all three sites. The Düsseldorf facility offers the full spectrum of diagnostic radiology: MRI, CT, conventional X-ray, breast diagnostics, and periradicular therapy (PRT) for spinal pain management. The CT department is built around a Siemens Somatom goTop with 128 detector rows and a rapid rotation time of 0.33 seconds. This combination enables ECG-gated cardiac protocols — coronary calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography — with substantially lower radiation dose than older scanner generations. The goTop platform uses Siemens CARE Dose4D adaptive dose management, continuously adjusting tube current to patient anatomy during the scan. Cardiac CT examinations are offered as Selbstzahlerleistungen (self-pay services). The coronary calcium score is a brief, non-contrast study that quantifies calcium deposits in the coronary arteries — a validated predictor of cardiovascular events over five to ten years. CT coronary angiography adds contrast to visualise coronary artery stenoses as a non-invasive alternative to catheter angiography. Appointments typically within a few days by telephone.
