After surgery a healing period of typically a few months allows the implant to integrate before the final restoration is attached; a temporary solution can often be arranged in the interim. The price quoted here is for the implant fixture; the abutment and the crown that sits on top are planned and priced separately once healing is complete, so the total cost depends on the final restoration chosen. Where there is insufficient bone height in the upper jaw, a sinus-lift procedure may be recommended first.
