CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) is a low-dose 3D dental scan that captures the teeth, jawbone, nerves and sinuses in three dimensions. Available on site, it is used to plan implants, assess impacted teeth, investigate root and jaw problems and evaluate bone before surgery. The detailed images give the clinicians far more information than a flat X-ray. Pricing depends on the region scanned, with panoramic and point X-rays also available.

About this treatment

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a specialised form of 3D imaging designed for the teeth and jaws.
