FTC thread lifting uses bioabsorbable mezonitě (fine implantable threads) inserted via acupuncture needles into the skin and subcutaneous tissue to mechanically lift and firm sagging areas of the face, neck and body. Once in place, the threads trigger regenerative responses in the tissue — mechanical stimulation, tissue contraction and a collagen-induction cascade — rather than simply providing passive structural support. FTC thread lifting falls under the category of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures — defined as achieving significant clinical results without open surgery, general anaesthesia or extended recovery. The FTC system uses mezonitě: fine, bioabsorbable threads of defined shape, strength and length that are pre-loaded onto acupuncture-calibre needles. The practitioner maps the treatment zones and passes each needle through the skin at a carefully calculated angle and depth, depositing the thread within the target tissue layer. The needle is withdrawn, leaving the thread in place. The procedure does not require incisions, sutures or general anaesthesia. The mechanism of action is twofold. Immediately after insertion, the physical presence of the threads creates a mechanical gathering effect in the tissue — a gentle bunching of the skin and superficial fascial layer that repositions the tissue and produces a visible lifting effect.
