FTC Thread Lifting (Mezonitě)

Type

Thread Lift

Duration

1 hour

FTC thread lifting uses bioabsorbable mezonitě (fine implantable threads) inserted via acupuncture needles into the skin and subcutaneous tissue to mechanically lift and firm sagging areas of the face, neck and body. The clinic's archived site describes it as "the best minimally invasive aesthetic technique for sagging tissue" with a natural rejuvenation result. Once in place, the threads trigger regenerative responses in the tissue — mechanical stimulation, tissue contraction and a collagen-induction cascade — rather than simply providing passive structural support. MUDr. Brychtová's neurological anatomy training makes her precise needle placement particularly well suited to thread techniques that require accurate positioning in relation to facial nerve branches.

FTC thread lifting falls under the category of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures — defined as achieving significant clinical results without open surgery, general anaesthesia or extended recovery. The FTC system uses mezonitě: fine, bioabsorbable threads of defined shape, strength and length that are pre-loaded onto acupuncture-calibre needles. The practitioner maps the treatment zones and passes each needle through the skin at a carefully calculated angle and depth, depositing the thread within the target tissue layer. The needle is withdrawn, leaving the thread in place. The procedure does not require incisions, sutures or general anaesthesia. The mechanism of action is twofold. Immediately after insertion, the physical presence of the threads creates a mechanical gathering effect in the tissue — a gentle bunching of the skin and superficial fascial layer that repositions the tissue and produces a visible lifting effect. Over the following weeks, the body responds to the foreign material with an organised foreign-body reaction: fibroblasts migrate to the thread, collagen forms around it, and the structural mesh of fibrous tissue that grows along the thread's path reinforces and sustains the lift. As the bioabsorbable threads gradually dissolve over six to twelve months, the collagen that has formed around them persists, maintaining the improvement for longer than the thread itself. The FTC system specifically uses threads applied via acupuncture needles — a feature that minimises the entry-point size and makes the technique closer to acupuncture in terms of insertion trauma than to conventional barbed-thread lifting (which uses much larger blunt cannulas). This is particularly relevant for face and neck areas where bruising from larger instruments would be problematic. MUDr. Brychtová's dual expertise in acupuncture and aesthetic medicine makes her application of this needle-based thread technique a natural clinical fit. Treatment areas include the lower face and jaw (addressing jowl formation and jawline definition), cheeks and mid-face, brows and forehead, neck (addressing neck laxity and horizontal bands), and body areas such as the décolletage, abdomen and thighs. Thread count and pattern vary by zone and the degree of laxity being addressed; MUDr. Brychtová assesses each patient individually to determine the appropriate configuration. Results develop over two to four weeks as post-procedure swelling fully resolves and the collagen-induction phase begins. The full effect is typically visible at four to six weeks and persists for six to eighteen months depending on the thread type, zone and individual biology. The procedure carries a brief social recovery of three to seven days for minor swelling and tenderness at entry points. Contraindications include active skin infection in the treatment area, certain bleeding disorders and, depending on thread type, some autoimmune conditions.

Who Is This For?

Adults with early to moderate facial or neck skin laxity seeking a minimally invasive lift without open surgery; patients who want a natural result that develops gradually rather than an immediately dramatic change

What's Included

Facial or body tissue assessment and thread configuration planning by MUDr. Brychtová
Local anaesthetic at needle entry points
FTC mezonitě thread insertion via acupuncture-needle technique
Post-procedure cooling and entry-point care
Aftercare instructions and timing of expected results
