Liposuction (Liposukce – odsávání tuku)

Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that removes localized fat deposits from specific anatomical regions — the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, knees, arms, back, submental area (under the chin), and elsewhere — that persist despite consistent diet and exercise. The fundamental principle is that fat cells are permanently removed and do not regenerate; provided the patient maintains a stable weight, the contour improvement is long-lasting.

At MUDr. Lucie Kučerová's Brno practice, liposuction is performed with tumescent technique: a dilute solution of local anesthetic and adrenaline is infiltrated into the target area to minimize bleeding and discomfort before fat is aspirated through fine cannulas. The maximum volume removed in a single session is four liters, a limit that ensures safe fluid balance and optimal tissue quality post-procedure.

Anesthesia selection is guided by scope. Small or single areas (such as submental fat or knee pads) can be treated comfortably under local anesthesia with optional analgosedation, priced from 25,000 Kč. Medium single areas cost 32,000 Kč; large single areas such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs cost 38,000 Kč.
