A full spine MRI at MRI Diagnostyka provides continuous imaging from the craniocervical junction through to the sacrum, covering all 24 mobile vertebrae, the intervertebral discs at each level, the spinal cord and cauda equina, nerve roots, facet joints, and paraspinal soft tissues. This single-session approach is more efficient and cost-effective than booking cervical, thoracic, and lumbar scans separately, and ensures no transitional zones are missed between regions. The examination is particularly valuable for patients with symptoms that are difficult to localise to a single spinal level -- for example, pain patterns that span the neck and upper back, or thoracic and lumbar regions simultaneously. It is also the imaging study of choice for scoliosis assessment, where curvature measurements require visualisation of the entire spinal column, and for screening in conditions such as multiple sclerosis, where demyelinating lesions can appear at any spinal level. The scan takes approximately 60 minutes on the Siemens 1.5T scanner. At 1,500 PLN (roughly EUR 350), the full spine package represents a substantial saving compared with booking three separate regional scans, and is dramatically cheaper than equivalent full-spine imaging at private facilities in Germany or the UK, where prices typically range from EUR 800 to EUR 1,500. No referral is required for the standard non-contrast protocol.
