Veneers
Duration

Veneers are thin facings bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their colour, shape and alignment, used to refresh a smile or correct chips, gaps and discoloration. MM Kaczmarek offers laboratory-made ceramic veneers for the most natural, durable result, as well as more affordable composite veneers built up directly on the tooth in a single visit. The dentist will plan the look with you and advise which option suits your teeth.
A veneer is a thin shell that covers the front surface of a tooth to change its appearance — improving colour, evening out shape, closing small gaps or masking chips and worn edges. Veneers are a popular way to refine a smile while keeping treatment relatively conservative compared with full crowns. MM Kaczmarek offers two main approaches. Ceramic (porcelain) veneers are crafted in a dental laboratory from impressions or scans and bonded to lightly prepared teeth; they are prized for their lifelike translucency, stain resistance and longevity. Direct composite veneers are sculpted onto the tooth chairside in a single appointment using tooth-coloured resin, making them a faster and more affordable option that can often be done with minimal or no drilling and is straightforward to adjust or repair. Treatment begins with a discussion of what you would like to change, and the dentist will assess whether veneers are the right choice or whether whitening, bonding, orthodontics or crowns might suit you better. The shade and shape are planned so the result looks balanced with your face and neighbouring teeth. For larger restorations on back teeth, the clinic also provides ceramic and composite inlays and onlays, which restore biting surfaces while preserving more of the natural tooth than a full crown. Veneers and bonded restorations are for adults with healthy teeth and gums; the dentist will explain how to care for them, the importance of good hygiene, and what to expect over time, including that composite may need occasional polishing or refreshing.
