Platelet-rich plasma uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate its platelets and growth factors, which is then injected to stimulate skin repair and rejuvenation. Because it is autologous — derived entirely from you — it is well tolerated and a natural option for improving skin quality, including the delicate under-eye area. About this treatment

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a regenerative skin treatment that uses your own blood's healing components. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors associated with tissue repair and collagen production. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin to support tone, texture and firmness.

At MM Clinic the process — blood draw, preparation and treatment — takes around forty-five to sixty minutes, with numbing cream applied for comfort.
