Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Bocouture)

Botulinum toxin injections, using the Bocouture brand, that relax the muscles driving dynamic expression lines such as forehead creases, frown lines and crow's feet around the eyes. At MM Clinic the treatment is performed by a physician after assessing how your face moves, so expression is softened rather than frozen. Single areas, combined upper-face plans and finer corrections like a brow lift, lip flip or gummy-smile softening are offered, alongside functional uses for jaw clenching and excessive sweating.

Anti-wrinkle injections use small, carefully placed doses of botulinum toxin to temporarily ease the activity of specific facial muscles. When those muscles contract less strongly, the overlying skin folds less and existing dynamic lines tend to soften over the following days. At MM Clinic the treatment uses Bocouture and begins with a physician assessment of your facial movement to agree which areas to treat — most often the forehead, the glabella between the brows and the lateral eye area, with finer options including a brow lift, bunny lines, a lip flip, gummy-smile softening, chin dimpling and a Nefertiti-style neck treatment. The injections themselves take around ten to fifteen minutes with a very fine needle, and most people return to normal activities the same day while avoiding heat, lying flat and vigorous exercise for the rest of the day. Effects are typically associated with onset over three to seven days, settling by about two weeks, and commonly last in the region of three to four months before movement gradually returns. Beyond cosmetic lines, the clinic also offers botulinum toxin for jaw clenching and bruxism and for excessive underarm, hand or foot sweating, which are quoted separately. Suitability, dosing and any contraindications are reviewed by the doctor at consultation; the treatment is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
