Platelet-rich fibrin is a next-generation relative of PRP, also made from your own blood but prepared without anticoagulant so it forms a slower-releasing fibrin matrix rich in cells and growth factors. This matrix is associated with a more sustained release of repair signals into the skin. About this treatment

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) builds on the same idea as PRP but uses a different preparation. A small blood sample is spun gently and without anticoagulant, which allows the platelets, white cells and fibrin to form a soft, three-dimensional matrix.
