Preparation required
Stop smoking well before surgery. Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, and blood-thinning supplements for at least a week prior. Complete pre-operative blood work. Plan 1–2 weeks off work and avoid glasses resting on the nose for several weeks after splint removal.
