Type
MRI Scan
Duration
30 min
High-field MRI of the brain using BioMatrix technology with a 70 cm bore, providing detailed neurological imaging for headaches, dizziness, suspected tumours, and neurodegenerative assessment.
MIRAI Clinic's brain MRI utilises BioMatrix adaptive scanning technology that automatically adjusts imaging parameters to each patient's anatomy and breathing pattern, reducing motion artefact and improving consistency across examinations. The wide 70 cm bore accommodates patients up to 220 kg and reduces claustrophobia compared to conventional narrow-bore scanners. The protocol includes T1-weighted, T2-weighted, FLAIR, and diffusion-weighted sequences covering the entire cranial vault. These sequences evaluate cortical and subcortical grey matter, white matter tracts, ventricular system, posterior fossa structures, and the sella turcica. Gadolinium contrast can be added when there is clinical suspicion of tumour, infection, or inflammatory demyelination. All studies are reported by radiologists with subspecialty neuroradiology training. Results are typically available within two working days, with urgent findings communicated directly to the referring physician on the same day.
