About this treatment

Microdermabrasion is distinct from chemical peels in that it is purely mechanical — no acids, retinoids, or photosensitising agents are involved — making it suitable for skin types and conditions where chemical exfoliation carries higher risk. At Miracle Esthetic Clinic, Pristine microdermabrasion is indicated for:
- Acne-prone and oily skin: removing follicular plugs and sebum, reducing the comedone burden that precedes breakouts
- Congested pores and blackheads: physical extraction of superficial comedones combined with suction-assisted clearing

Preparation required
Avoid retinoids and AHA/BHA acids for 1 week before. Do not have waxing on the face within 1 week. Apply SPF 50 for 1 week post-treatment.
