Thin, custom-made shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their colour, shape, alignment and proportions, designed digitally and milled with CAD/CAM technology. Veneers can close small gaps, mask discolouration and create an even, natural-looking smile. Milanova offers porcelain (Emax or feldspathic) and zirconia veneers, a composite alternative, and a wax-up or mock-up so you can preview the planned result before committing.
Veneers are wafer-thin restorations bonded to the visible surface of the front teeth to refine their appearance — improving shade, evening out shape and length, closing minor spacing and creating a balanced smile line. At Milanova the design begins digitally: the teeth are scanned with an intraoral scanner and the new smile is planned on screen, with the option of a wax-up or in-mouth mock-up so you can see and agree the proposed shape before any work is carried out. The veneers themselves are produced using CAD/CAM milling for precise fit and form. Preparing teeth for porcelain veneers usually involves removing a small amount of enamel so the veneer sits flush; the exact amount depends on the case and the material. The clinic offers feldspathic and Emax (lithium-disilicate) porcelain veneers, prized for their lifelike translucency, as well as zirconia for situations needing extra strength, and a more economical composite veneer milled from CAD/CAM blocks. For smaller corrections, direct composite bonding — where tooth-coloured resin is sculpted onto the tooth in a single visit — can be a less invasive and lower-cost alternative. The right choice depends on your goals, the condition of the teeth and how much change is wanted, all of which the dentist reviews at consultation. Veneers are an elective, cosmetic treatment and the dentist will explain longevity, care and any reversibility considerations so expectations are clear before starting.
