A titanium implant placed in the jaw to replace the root of a missing tooth, later restored with a crown to fill the gap without involving the neighbouring teeth. Implants help maintain bone and restore natural function for eating and speaking. About this treatment
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root. A small titanium post is placed into the jawbone where, over a healing period, it integrates with the surrounding bone to provide a stable foundation. A custom crown is then attached to restore the visible tooth.
