Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) uses controlled cooling to target stubborn pockets of fat that resist diet and exercise, such as the abdomen, flanks or thighs. An applicator draws in the area and cools it to a temperature that gradually breaks down fat cells, which the body then clears over the following weeks. About this treatment
Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical body-contouring treatment that uses precisely controlled cooling to reduce localised fat deposits. A vacuum applicator draws the targeted bulge between cooling plates and lowers its temperature to a point that damages fat cells while sparing the overlying skin and surrounding tissues. The affected fat cells are then gradually broken down and cleared by the body's natural processes over the weeks and months that follow.
At Medycyna Piękna each applicator placement is a fifty-minute treatment; one or two applicators can be used in a session depending on the area. There is an initial intense cold and a pulling sensation that usually eases within the first several minutes as the area becomes numb, after which most people relax during the treatment.
