A Q-switched ACROMA-QS laser that breaks down unwanted pigment — sun spots, melasma patches and other discolouration — as well as tattoo ink, into tiny particles the body then clears. Small individual marks or broader areas can be treated, and the same laser is used for laser toning to even out tone. Pigment concerns and tattoos usually need a course of sessions.
About this treatment
Pigmentation and tattoo removal here uses a Q-switched ACROMA-QS laser, which releases very short, high-energy pulses of light. These pulses are absorbed by concentrated pigment — whether natural melanin in a sun spot or melasma patch, or tattoo ink — and shatter it into microscopic fragments that the body's immune system gradually carries away over the following weeks. Because the energy is delivered so quickly, surrounding skin is largely spared.
At Medycyna Estetyczna Legnica the area is cleansed and the treatment takes from a few minutes for a small mark up to longer for larger areas or tattoos; a snapping sensation is felt with each pulse and the spot may whiten briefly, then look slightly red or form a fine crust that settles over days. Pigmentation such as sun spots often improves noticeably after one to a few sessions, while melasma is more stubborn and is managed carefully, as aggressive…
