Lip augmentation uses soft, cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler to enhance the lips' volume, shape and border definition while keeping movement and proportion natural. A strong topical anaesthetic is applied and most filler products also contain lidocaine, so the procedure is generally well tolerated.
