The NORDLYS system by Ellipse is a multi-application light platform; for acne it uses carefully selected wavelengths of light directed at the skin to address the inflammatory component of common acne. The light is absorbed within the skin and is associated with calming active breakouts and reducing the redness and congestion that accompany them, offering a medication-free option that can complement a topical routine for suitable patients. At MediLaser the skin is cleansed and protective eyewear worn before the full-face treatment, which takes around twenty to thirty minutes and is generally well tolerated, felt as brief warm pulses. There is little downtime — mild redness usually settles quickly. Because acne fluctuates and the light works gradually, a planned course of sessions is associated with the best results, and the clinic can advise on spacing and on supporting skincare.
