Microneedling (Dermapen 4.0)

Dermapen 4.0 microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, improving texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring. At MediLaser each session is finished with LED light therapy to support recovery and calm the skin. A short course gives the most noticeable improvement, especially for uneven texture and scarring.

Microneedling with the Dermapen 4.0 device uses a cluster of very fine needles oscillating at high speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled injuries trigger the body's natural repair response, prompting fresh collagen and elastin to form and gradually refining the skin's surface over the following weeks. The micro-channels also allow serums applied during treatment to penetrate more effectively. At MediLaser the skin is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied before the microneedling pass, and the session is completed with LED light therapy, which is associated with calmer skin and supported recovery. Treatment takes around forty-five to sixty minutes for the face. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for a day or two, after which the skin looks fresher and, over several weeks, smoother and more even in tone. Microneedling is well suited to uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines and mild-to-moderate acne scarring. Because the improvement builds as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions roughly four weeks apart is generally recommended, particularly for scarring.
