An ablative fractional laser that resurfaces the skin in microscopic columns to strongly improve texture, deeper lines, acne scarring and tone. By treating only a fraction of the surface at a time, it drives significant renewal while leaving surrounding skin intact to speed healing. MediLaser uses the CHROME platform for facial resurfacing where a more intensive result than a non-ablative laser is wanted.

At MediLaser the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face. Because this is an ablative treatment, expect more downtime than a non-ablative laser: the skin feels warm and looks flushed, with some swelling and a sandpaper-like or peeling texture over several days as it renews, so it is best planned around a quieter period.
