About this treatment
JETT Plasma Lift Medical is a professional-grade electrosurgical device that generates plasma energy through the ionisation of atmospheric gas between the probe tip and the skin surface. This differentiates it from radiofrequency or ultrasound-based skin tightening — plasma operates at the epidermal level, causing direct tissue sublimation (evaporation of epidermal cells without cutting) while heating the dermis below.
At MEDIKAP Pardubice, MUDr. Natálie Kaplanová is trained and licensed in the JETT Plasma system. The device is certified as a medical device within the EU MDR framework, which is why it is offered in a dermatology clinic rather than a cosmetic salon.
During treatment, the skin is cleaned and a topical anaesthetic (EMLA cream) is applied 30–45 minutes before the session to reduce discomfort. The plasma probe is held 1–2 mm above the skin surface; the arc generated causes a pinpoint sublimation spot that contracts the surrounding tissue. The practitioner works methodically across the treatment zone in a dot-pattern technique.
