The full body MRI at Medicover Hospital uses the facility's flagship 3 Tesla Siemens Magnetom 3 Neo scanner, which incorporates AI-assisted image reconstruction to reduce scan times while maintaining diagnostic resolution. At 3T, the scanner delivers roughly twice the signal-to-noise ratio of standard 1.5T systems, improving the visibility of small lesions, early degenerative changes, and subtle soft-tissue abnormalities that might be missed at lower field strengths. The protocol systematically images the head (including diffusion-weighted sequences for stroke screening), the full spine (cervical through sacral), thoracic organs, abdominal organs (liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, adrenal glands), the pelvis, and selected large joints. No intravenous contrast is administered, making the examination suitable for patients with contrast allergies or impaired renal function.
