About this treatment
Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightens the underlying abdominal muscles. Preparation required
Achieve a stable weight before surgery — significant weight changes after can affect results. Stop smoking 4–6 weeks before. Avoid blood thinners for 2 weeks. Arrange help at home for the first 1–2 weeks. Fast from midnight before surgery.
