Because hyaluronic acid is a water-binding gel that the body gradually breaks down, results are temporary and build-able session by session.
About this treatment
Facial fillers at Mediclaser use cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel to replace volume that is gradually lost from the cheeks and mid-face with age, and to soften the nasolabial folds that deepen as that support fades. Rather than simply filling a line, restoring volume in the right place can lift and refresh the surrounding area, which is why the clinic assesses the face during the medical interview before agreeing a plan.
Numbing is used for comfort and most modern fillers also contain lidocaine. The gel is placed with a fine needle or a blunt cannula depending on the area, and results are visible immediately, continuing to settle over one to two weeks as any initial swelling resolves.
