MCP offers comprehensive STD testing for a full range of sexually transmitted infections: chlamydia, mycoplasma, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, and rarer pathogens. Anonymous testing is available — a meaningful differentiator in a Czech market where most public STD testing involves registration. Home sampling kits can be dispatched for patients preferring to collect outside the clinic. Tests are processed through Ústav lékařské biochemie a laboratorní diagnostiky VFN Praha, the state STD reference laboratory.

Preparation required
For chlamydia/gonorrhoea PCR from urine: do not urinate for 1–2 hours before sample. Abstain from antibiotics for 2 weeks where possible. Book via extranet.mc-praha.cz and specify anonymous testing if required.

Detects antibodies to hepatitis C virus, indicating current or past infection. A positive result requires confirmatory RNA testing. Hepatitis C is now curable with direct-acting antiviral medications in most patients.
