Allergy diagnostics at MCP differs from a conventional allergist appointment because it treats allergy as an immune system disorder, not just a local hypersensitivity response. The clinical philosophy, articulated by MUDr. Radek Klubal, is that the 'gate of allergen entry' does not determine organ manifestation — meaning nasal exposure can trigger asthma, and food antigens can present as eczema. Effective treatment therefore requires understanding the patient's overall immune architecture. The examination begins with a detailed allergy-focused anamnesis covering symptom history, trigger patterns, family history, and prior treatments.
