Type
Full Body Checkup
Duration
5 hours
A five-hour top-tier programme for adults over fifty that adds brain MRI as standard, PET-CT imaging options, a comprehensive cardiovascular workup, and full genetic screening to the In-Depth Comprehensive tier. This is MEDICHECK's most thorough single-day evaluation, combining broad-spectrum cancer surveillance with detailed neurological and cardiovascular assessment.
The In-Depth Plus Comprehensive programme represents the full extent of MEDICHECK's diagnostic capability in a single visit. Targeted at adults over fifty, it layers whole-body cancer surveillance, cerebrovascular imaging, and genetic risk profiling onto the already substantial In-Depth Comprehensive foundation. Brain MRI is included as a standard component at this tier, not an optional add-on. The scan evaluates brain parenchyma for tumours, ischaemic lesions, white matter changes, and structural abnormalities. Cerebrovascular mapping may also be included to screen the arterial system feeding the brain, identifying aneurysms and stenosis that are often completely asymptomatic until a catastrophic event occurs. Given that cerebrovascular disease is a leading cause of disability in older adults, this screening has meaningful preventive value. PET-CT imaging options allow for metabolic whole-body cancer surveillance, combining the anatomical detail of computed tomography with the functional information of positron emission tomography. PET-CT can identify metabolically active lesions that are too small or too early in their development to appear on conventional imaging, making it one of the most sensitive tools available for broad-spectrum cancer screening. The cardiovascular workup at this tier goes beyond the ECG and optional echocardiography of lower packages to include a more comprehensive assessment of cardiac structure, function, and vascular risk. This may encompass additional cardiac imaging, arterial stiffness measurement, and expanded blood markers for cardiovascular event prediction. Full genetic screening adds a layer of personalised risk assessment, analysing genetic variants associated with hereditary cancer syndromes and other conditions where early knowledge can meaningfully change surveillance and prevention strategies. The genetic results are contextualised within the broader screening findings during an extended senior physician consultation. The complete bilingual report integrates laboratory values, imaging findings, endoscopy results, and genetic data into a single document, with trend comparisons available for returning patients. The five-hour visit is carefully scheduled to move through each station efficiently despite the breadth of testing involved.
