After pregnancy or significant weight loss, two problems commonly remain that diet and exercise cannot fix: skin that has been stretched beyond its capacity to retract, and abdominal muscles whose midline connection has been pushed apart (rectus diastasis), leaving a bulge even in fit patients. Abdominoplasty addresses both in one operation. **The procedure:** Under general anaesthesia (included in MEDICent's price), the surgeon makes a low horizontal incision placed to sit beneath underwear and swimwear lines, lifts the abdominal skin, and sutures the separated rectus muscles back together along their full length — restoring a firm corset of core support.
