About this treatment
FUE hair transplantation works because of a quirk of male-pattern hair loss: the follicles at the back and sides of the head are genetically resistant to the hormone (DHT) that miniaturises hair on the crown and hairline. Moved to a thinning area, they keep their resistance — and keep growing permanently.
The method
Under local anaesthesia, individual follicular units (each carrying 1–3 hairs) are extracted from the donor zone with a fine punch — no scalpel strip, no linear scar — leaving only dot marks that are invisible once hair regrows over them. The units are sorted and preserved, then implanted into pre-made micro-incisions in the recipient area, with the angle and direction of each implantation matched to natural growth patterns. Preparation required
