Medicare Group offers specialist outpatient consultations across more than 40 medical disciplines at their Budapest locations. The breadth of specialties is unusual for a single provider network, covering internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, neurology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, ENT, urology, pulmonology, rheumatology, haematology, hepatology, and surgical specialties including general, vascular, and trauma surgery. Consultation fees are published on the Medicare Group website and range from 29,000 HUF for general and paediatric consultations to 36,900 HUF for subspecialties like endocrinology and immunology. Psychiatry initial consultations are priced at 52,990 HUF with follow-ups at 31,900 HUF. International patients requesting English-language consultations should expect an additional 9,000 HUF surcharge. Consultations can be booked as standalone visits or as a gateway to diagnostic imaging and laboratory investigations available within the same network. The integrated model means a cardiologist can order an echocardiogram, a gastroenterologist can request an MRI enterography, or a rheumatologist can send blood samples to the in-house laboratory — all without the patient needing to coordinate between separate providers.
