A dental crown is a custom cap that covers a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. MediArt offers porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and metal-free full-ceramic crowns, including a premium LAVA zirconia option. Treatment starts with a prosthetic consultation, and crowns can also be fitted onto the clinic's dental implants.
About this treatment
A crown is a tooth-shaped cap, made in a dental laboratory, that fits over a prepared tooth to rebuild it when too much structure has been lost to decay, a large filling, a fracture or root-canal treatment. By fully covering the tooth, a crown restores its shape and biting strength while improving how it looks, and it can also be used to complete an implant.
At MediArt Clinic the prosthetic options include porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, which combine a metal core with a porcelain surface, and fully metal-free ceramic crowns for a more natural light-handling appearance — including a premium LAVA zirconia crown.
