Fixed braces use brackets bonded to the teeth and a connecting wire to correct crowding, spacing and bite problems that may be beyond the scope of aligners. Medent offers a range from standard metal braces to more discreet aesthetic and ceramic options and modern self-ligating systems. The orthodontist plans treatment from models and imaging and reviews progress at regular adjustment visits, with retainers afterwards to hold the corrected position.
