Composite Veneer (Bonding)

A composite veneer, applied through bonding, reshapes and resurfaces a tooth using tooth-coloured resin built up directly by the dentist in a single visit. It can close small gaps, improve the shape of worn or uneven teeth and brighten discolouration, usually with little or no drilling. Composite bonding builds up tooth-coloured resin directly onto a tooth and shapes it by hand to improve its appearance. A key advantage over laboratory veneers is that bonding is usually minimally invasive — often little or no enamel needs to be removed — and the result is completed in a single appointment, with the resin sculpted, set with a curing light and then polished to a natural finish.
