About this treatment
Microneedling with a Dermapen device uses a cluster of fine needles oscillating at high speed to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled stimuli trigger the body's natural repair response, prompting fresh collagen and elastin production that firms the skin and refines its surface over the following weeks. The micro-channels also allow active serums applied during treatment to penetrate more effectively.
At Med-Derm the skin is cleansed and numbing cream applied before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the area. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, after which the skin looks fresher and, over a few weeks, smoother and more even.
