A 30-minute therapeutic massage performed by trained physiotherapists, targeting specific muscle groups and addressing tension, pain, and restricted mobility as part of rehabilitation or wellness maintenance.

Medical massage at MCK is performed by qualified physiotherapists who assess the patient's musculoskeletal condition before determining the appropriate techniques and focus areas. Unlike spa or relaxation massage, medical massage is goal-oriented — targeting specific muscle groups, trigger points, fascial restrictions, or joint-related soft tissue issues identified during the assessment. The 30-minute format is designed for focused work on one or two primary problem areas. Common applications include cervical and shoulder tension from desk work, lower back muscle spasm, post-exercise muscle tightness, and preparation or recovery support for cryotherapy sessions. MCK often prescribes massage as part of a multi-modal rehabilitation programme that may include cryotherapy (to reduce inflammation before or after massage), electrotherapy, and supervised exercise.
