A manual lymphatic drainage massage lasting approximately 40 minutes, using gentle rhythmic techniques to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce fluid retention, and support the body's natural detoxification processes.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) at MCK is performed by trained physiotherapists who understand the lymphatic anatomy and can adapt the technique to each patient's needs. The pressure used is significantly lighter than in therapeutic massage — the lymphatic vessels respond to gentle stretching of the skin rather than deep pressure. Common indications include post-surgical swelling (particularly after orthopaedic or cosmetic procedures), chronic oedema, heavy or tired legs, post-exercise recovery (to accelerate metabolic waste clearance), and general wellness and immune support. The treatment is also used in conjunction with cryotherapy — the cold exposure from a cryotherapy session promotes lymphatic flow, and following it with manual drainage amplifies the detoxification effect. Sessions at MCK last approximately 40 minutes, covering the relevant drainage pathways from the extremities toward the central lymph nodes.
