About this treatment
Ultraformer III uses focused ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver controlled thermal energy at three depths beneath the skin — superficial dermis, deep dermis, and the SMAS layer — to stimulate the body's own collagen response. The session is non-invasive, takes around two hours, and is typically used to lift and firm areas of the lower face, jawline, neck, and brow over a period of weeks as new collagen develops. A consultation at the start tailors the shot count and depth to the area being treated.

Preparation required
Arrive with a clean face — no makeup, sunscreen, or heavy moisturizers. Avoid retinoids and strong exfoliants for 3–5 days before treatment. Do not wax or use depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least one week prior. Stay out of direct sun for 48 hours beforehand. Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), as some treatments can trigger an outbreak. Avoid blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E) for 3 days prior if injections are involved.
