Preparation required
Stay well hydrated the day before and morning of treatment. Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 1 week before. Wash your hair the morning of treatment. Avoid alcohol for 48 hours before. Eat a normal meal before your appointment. Inform the provider of any blood disorders, active scalp infections, or platelet dysfunction.
