PDO thread lifting uses absorbable barbed sutures placed under the skin to gently reposition and support sagging tissue along the cheeks, jawline or neck, giving an immediate subtle lift. The threads also stimulate collagen as they dissolve, so firmness continues to improve over the following months. It suits patients with mild to moderate laxity who want more lift than injectables alone but are not ready for surgery.

About this treatment

A PDO thread lift uses fine, absorbable polydioxanone threads with small barbs or cones along their length.
