A laser that targets the haemoglobin in small dilated blood vessels and areas of facial redness, heating and collapsing them so they fade and are reabsorbed. It is well suited to broken capillaries, spider veins and the persistent flushing of conditions such as rosacea, particularly around the nose, cheeks and chin. Individual vessels or whole areas can be treated, with a short series giving the most even result.

About this treatment

Laser vascular treatment works by emitting a wavelength of light that is preferentially absorbed by the haemoglobin inside small, unwanted blood vessels. The absorbed energy heats and coagulates the vessel wall so that the vessel collapses and is gradually reabsorbed by the body, reducing visible redness and fine thread veins.
