The Lutronic eCO2 is a fractional CO2 laser that resurfaces the skin in microscopic columns to improve texture, fine lines, acne scarring and tone, while leaving surrounding skin intact for faster recovery than fully ablative lasers. Treatment can target the whole face, the eye area, the neck and décolleté, or specific scars and stretch marks. A short course gives the strongest result for scarring and texture.
About this treatment
The Lutronic eCO2 is a fractional ablative CO2 laser that delivers energy into the skin in a grid of microscopic treatment columns, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. This fractional approach drives a strong collagen-remodelling response to smooth texture, soften fine lines, improve acne scarring and even out tone, while the intact bridges of skin between columns support faster healing than older fully ablative resurfacing.
At Marosz the skin is cleansed and numbed before treatment, which takes around thirty to forty-five minutes for the face. Afterwards the skin feels hot and looks flushed, with mild swelling and a sandpaper-like texture for a few days as it renews; diligent moisturising and strict sun protection are essential during recovery.
