Injection lipolysis uses a fat-dissolving solution delivered directly into small, stubborn pockets of fat — most commonly a double chin, but also areas of the abdomen, hips, thighs or upper back. Over a course of sessions the treated fat is gradually broken down and cleared by the body. It is aimed at localised deposits that resist diet and exercise, not at general weight loss, with the area and number of sessions agreed beforehand.

About this treatment

Injection lipolysis is a non-surgical treatment for small, localised pockets of fat. A fat-dissolving solution is injected into the targeted area, where it disrupts the membranes of fat cells so their contents can be gradually released and cleared by the body's normal metabolic processes over the following weeks. It is best understood as a tool for stubborn, diet-resistant deposits rather than a method of overall weight reduction.

At Marosz the most popular area is the submental region — the 'double chin' — with body areas such as the abdomen, hips, saddlebags, inner thighs and the upper back also treated. A session takes around twenty to thirty minutes.
