Hair Growth Mesotherapy

Type

Mesotherapy

Duration

35 min

Scalp mesotherapy delivering growth factors, vitamins, peptides and amino acids via microinjections directly into the scalp to support hair follicle health and stimulate new growth. Luna Klinik's hair mesotherapy protocol targets the follicular unit in the dermal papilla, supplying nutrients that are often deficient in thinning scalps and signalling dormant follicles back into the active growth phase. Sessions run 30–45 minutes and start at 3,000 Kč. A course of 4–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart is recommended, with monthly maintenance to sustain results.

Hair mesotherapy applies the same principle as facial mesotherapy — bypassing the surface barrier to deliver actives directly where they are needed — to the scalp and hair follicles. The scalp's dermis contains the dermal papillae, specialised structures at the base of each hair follicle that regulate the follicle's growth cycle. By injecting nutrient-rich cocktails directly into the scalp's dermal layer, hair mesotherapy can deliver growth factors, vitamins (particularly B-vitamins, biotin, panthothenic acid), minerals (zinc, selenium), amino acids and peptides at concentrations far higher than what reaches the follicle through the blood supply. The cocktail used at Luna Klinik is selected based on the type of hair concern: diffuse thinning caused by nutritional deficiency or stress responds particularly well to vitamin and amino-acid-rich formulations; androgenetic hair loss (genetic patterned thinning) may be addressed with formulations including DHT-blocker actives such as finasteride-free peptides or saw palmetto extract compounds; general scalp health and seborrheic conditions benefit from zinc and vitamin B complex injections. The injection technique involves a grid of shallow microinjections across the treatment zone — typically the areas of thinning or diffuse density loss — using very fine needles. A topical anaesthetic can be applied first for comfort. The microinjections take 20 to 30 minutes for a standard scalp area. Immediately after, the scalp may feel mildly tender and show small red marks that resolve within a few hours. Hair mesotherapy is most effective for diffuse thinning, telogen effluvium (stress- or shock-related hair loss) and early-stage androgenetic alopecia, where follicles are still present but dormant or underperforming. It is less effective once follicles have been replaced by scar tissue in advanced alopecia. A course of four to six sessions is recommended for initial results, with monthly or bimonthly maintenance sessions to sustain follicle stimulation.
