The core modality is the DMK Enzyme Masque, a setting masque containing plant-based enzymes (primarily protease and lipase derived from plant sources) that interact with the skin's own transfer messenger enzymes when applied and allowed to set. As the masque hardens over 25 to 45 minutes, it exerts a reverse osmosis effect on the skin: the enzymatic activity and physical tension of the setting masque draw interstitial fluid through the dermal tissue toward the surface, flushing congestion, metabolic waste and inflammatory mediators out of the dermis and into the lymphatic circulation. This process is visible as a characteristic 'plasmatic effect' — a webbing pattern visible on the skin surface as the masque sets — which is unique to the DMK enzyme treatment and distinguishes it from standard enzyme facials.
