Mole Removal

Duration

30 min

Surgical or laser mole removal performed by Dr Evelyn Tay, Consultant Dermatologist. Includes mole checks and dermoscopy to assess lesions before removal. Histology available for excised tissue.

Lumine Dermatology & Laser Clinic offers specialist mole removal performed by Dr Evelyn Tay, one of Singapore's few private-practice Mohs surgeons and a MOH-accredited Consultant Dermatologist. Before any removal, the clinic conducts a thorough mole check including dermoscopic examination to determine whether a lesion is benign, atypical, or requires histological assessment. Benign and cosmetically bothersome moles can be removed via shave/curettage (SGD 350–500 per lesion) or surgical excision (SGD 800–1200 per lesion, depending on size and location). For small moles amenable to laser treatment, Alex Trivantage or PicoSure Pro laser is used (SGD 250 for the first mole, SGD 150 per subsequent mole). Punch biopsy for diagnostic purposes is SGD 600. Wide local excision for skin cancers is SGD 1500–2000. A histology fee of SGD 300 applies when tissue is sent to the laboratory for pathological analysis. Dr Tay's Mohs surgery training ensures that moles near cosmetically sensitive areas — around the eye, nose, or lip — are managed with maximal tissue-sparing technique and optimal cosmetic outcomes. Cryotherapy (SGD 150) is also available for superficial keratoses and warts. All procedures are performed in-clinic under local anaesthetic, with post-procedure wound care instructions provided.
