A coronary angio-CT is a computed-tomography scan that images the arteries supplying the heart, allowing assessment of narrowing and calcified or soft plaque without an invasive catheter procedure. Coronary computed-tomography angiography (angio-CT) is a specialised CT scan focused on the coronary arteries — the vessels that supply blood to the heart muscle.
